How I got my first client

1 year ago, in May of 2023 to be exact, I got paid $80 for 1 week worth of work. Working 8-10 hours each day.

I admit, It was torture… & I questioned Wether this was all worth it.

But I needed experience and most importantly a testimonial.

Why?

To build trust & credibility!

When I started reaching out to people for video editing services, most of the time I got ghosted or said “NO!” or “F OFF!” or even worse, completely ignored.

It was a really sh*t frustrating period of my life where I did a ton of outreaches and got no positive replies.

Because my brand was at the bottom of the game at that time. 

Now… I get people reaching out to me to help them with their video editing.

The #1 mistake you’re making in your outreaches is spamming copy-and-paste outreaches to prospects… and using your google drive link as a portfolio. 🥴

Like bro, it's the worst way you could begin an outreach.
